My newborn sessions are:

Led entirely by your baby

I work either in your home or in my studio, depending on what feels right for you.
There are no studio lights, complicated setups or uncomfortable poses.
I use natural light and gentle direction, creating images that feel soft, timeless and real.

Before your session:
We’ll pencil in a date around your due date (with flexibility)
I’ll talk you through what to expect
You’ll receive guidance on clothing and preparation
On the day:
The session moves at your baby’s pace
Safety is my absolute priority, I’m fully trained in newborn safety
Siblings and pets are always encouraged to be involved
You don’t need a perfect house.
You don’t need to feel “camera ready”.
You just need to show up and be with your baby.

What if my baby is unsettled?
That’s completely normal. Sessions are baby-led and unhurried, we take as long as we need.
What if I don’t feel great about how I look?
Almost every parent feels this way. I focus on connection and use flattering angles and close framing so you’ll love your images.
Do siblings and pets really work?
Yes, and always beautifully. I give children time to feel involved and important, which makes all the difference.
I’m short on time, will this feel overwhelming?
No. Organisation and clarity are a big part of what I offer.
From clear preparation guidance to a calm shoot day and an easy image-selection process, everything is designed to make this feel straightforward and well thought through.

Maternity session add-on
If you’d like to capture this moment before your baby arrives, you can add a maternity session to your newborn booking.
This is a relaxed, outdoor session. Very similar in style to my seasonal family shoots, focused on connection, anticipation and quiet confidence.
Booked together, it becomes a beautiful way to tell the full story.
Maternity session details:
- 30 minute outdoor session
- One family (up to two adults and three children)
- Styling guidance before the shoot
- A carefully edited gallery of 10 images
- In-person or online viewing and ordering session
£100 deposit to book.
Final image choices are made after you’ve seen the full gallery.
£50 off when booked alongside a newborn session

A gentle note on timing
My newborn sessions are:
We usually pencil in your newborn session around two weeks after your due date, but this is always flexible.
If you need more time to recover, or your baby arrives earlier or later than expected, we simply adjust. Because the sessions aren’t heavily posed, it’s absolutely fine if your baby is a little older.
Choosing your images
I don’t ask parents to make decisions before they’ve seen their photographs.
You’ll always view your fully edited gallery first, then choose the collection that feels right for you. There’s no pressure and no expectation to upgrade.
