I don’t think there is a single creative person who hasn’t worried that their skill and confidence has been affected by so much down time.

I’ve been getting butterflies before a shoot over the past few weeks, like when you return to work after maternity leave.

It’s not that I doubt my skill or love it any less. It’s more that I’ve remembered how important it is to me to create something beautiful and unique.

Choosing the perfect location and time of day for your kids is something that we decide together at the time of booking.

If your children are old enough to stay up for perfect light, I can't recommend it enough.

I've photographed this beautiful little family a few times over the past few years and it's always special.

We met in the beautiful Poppy Field but I found myself taking a whole series of cropped in images where it was only about them.

These two photos were taken seconds apart and I love them equally.

Can you remember how hot it was on Friday afternoon? It was 30 degrees and so incredibly humid.

I arranged a shoot with a friend of 30 years. She was just passing through so hot or not, it was now or never.
Quite rightly towards the end the kids were flagging.
Zoe - "Smile for Helen for 2 more minutes"
Kids - (we're tired and want to go home noises)
Zoe - "I'll let you tip the water over my head". Zoë Louise you are an awesome Mum.
